lyte was the first foal to be born at Dragonara.This truly stunning foal was very carefully planned.

His sire was Wendy Edgar's AMHA registered MHB Apollo who needs no introduction being a multi supreme champion at the highest level including The Horse of the Year Show and the BMHS breed show.

His Dam was AMHA registered Kerswell Monique who in her younger days was Mare champion at the BMHS breed show and has produced a string of very high class offspring who have regularly qualified themselves for the Horse of the Year Show (see Monique's page for her other foals) Monique's foals always have the most beautiful heads and Flyte was certainly no exception!

Supreme Champion foal at the British Miniature Horse Society International Breed Show. This was his second supreme in a month as previously on hid debut in the ring he was Supreme Foal at the All Breeds Miniature Show in Doncaster.

The judge at the Breed Show said "I have never in all my years of judging seen a foal with so much presence at such a young age- he will be a superstat for you"

Please note all this was achieved with an intact foal coat! I do not agree with the irresponsible trend of clipping young foals out fully. A dense foal coat cannot be replaced by a rug and a foals first winter can be quite challenging for some. I really do wish show secretaries would state that the clipping of foals is forbidden-as you can see I feel very strongly about this.
