She herself has only been shown very lightly but was a past winner of the Mare class at the BMHS breed show in her younger days. However she is more famous for producing beautiful ,very successful foals. She is the dam of the multi champion gelding 'Mainestar Bluegrass' Blue has inherited her beautiful head and action. Blue has regularly qualified for The Horse of the Year Show every year since he was a yearling. Blue's fantastic show career commenced in when 2004 he won a huge HOYS Qualifying class of yearlings at Ardingly at only his second show and his first attempt at a qualifier .'Blue' is now very much loved in a lovely caring home with friend Danielle McDaid. Moniques first foal with us-carrying the Dragonara Prefix was Dragonara Swallows Wyndflyte sired by MHB Apollo multi supreme champion stallion . Flyte who was shown just twice as a foal was Supreme foal at both the huge All Breeds Show and again 4 weeks later at The BMHS International Breed Show. He has now been sold to Mrs Auriol Robinson who has continued to win with him. STOP PRESS- due to owners ill health Flyte is now offered for sale-I would love him to go to a top show home to continue the success that he started with us when shown as a foal. Far too good to be wasted around local shows. (If you do purchase this stunning colt please would you let us know as I really do worry when they are sold) Monique had her second foal with us-another chestnut colt called Dragonara Indian Summer this time the sire was Zealshouse Black Jack. This little colt has a stunning head and great presence . He has been sold to Danielle McDaid to join his half brother 'Blue' and commence his show career.
